Green Room Dentistry was opened by Richard and Sally Hudson in November 1999. With a wealth of experience in implantology aligned with particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, Richard has earned the reputation as one of Cornwall’s leading cosmetic dentists.
As an undergraduate he won the Claudius Ash Prize for Operative Techniques and the American Association of Endodontists Student Achievement Award.
Richard started placing dental implants in 2003 and was on the committee of the Association of Dental Implantology UK representing the South West region from 2007-2008.
He accepts referrals for dental implants from other dental practices, holds regular courses on implantology and is also registered with the Association of Dental Implantology UK and Straumann Group as a mentor.
Dentistry aside, Richard is an avid surfer, cyclist and has gained a black belt in Tai Kwon Do. If it’s a real challenge with an element of speed, thrills or endurance then he’s probably done it! Richard’s current passion is Ironman distance triathlon. A few years ago he earned the fabled black jersey on completing the ‘Norseman’ and more recently finished Ironman Lanzarote in trying conditions. His latest result at the inaugural Ironman Portugal earned him a slot at the Ironman World Championships at Utah in 2022.
